Liebster Blog Award ……. It Rises From The Crypt.

So about six months ago we got this Liebster blog award, and I did a little research on the history of it, and we filled out a post about it and, passed it on to other bloggers.  Guess what?  like a case of crabs in a college dormitory this award just won’t go away.  However, although the award has the same name, the questions and set up of the award is different than the last time we spoke about it.

Here are the rules for the newest version of Liebster Blog Award:

1. Each person must post 11 things about themselves

2. Answer the 11 questions the person who has given the award has set for you.

3. Create 11 questions for the people you are giving the award to.

4. Choose 11 people and send them a link to your post.

5. Go to their page and tell them.

This is not to suggest that we at the three guys do not appreciate the award or don’t intend to pass it on. Au contraire, we intend to spread this award far and wide until every blog on the planet has received the award at least twice. Big Props to Vern at http://www.videovangaurd.com/ and  Andrew and Sarah at http://www.twoticketsfor.com/ for hooking us up. I once had a conversation with Jesus, but I was high on mushrooms at the time, so I not sure about the whole thing.

:D LOL There isnt a smiley big enough to express what I’m trying to get across there.

I dont play well with others, but here’s some answers for you cause we’re buddies. Yankees. I would never put something I stole in writing – you can read into that and not be too far off. I drive an 04 Mustang convertable. Red. I read comics, but I’m in a downtime mode right now, so nothing… Yes I have. And I do have an iPhone.

Fogs I was thinking you were going to answer that you stole some girls virginity at Comic-con.

Yankees (shakes had sadly side to side)

    • Fogs' Movie Reviews August 6, 2012, 6:20 am

LOL. At Comic-Con it’s the men who are virgins. Those chicks? Have been around the block. LOL ;)

  • TheVern August 5, 2012, 12:58 pm

Great responses to the questions but now I’m worried about a world being over populated with zombie dolphins.

    • Adam August 5, 2012, 3:48 pm

As well you should be Vern, I am thinking of buying a spear gun.

  • scottydynamite August 5, 2012, 6:03 pm

Adam, I as well find Mint Chocolate Chip to be my favorite ice cream

  • scottydynamite August 5, 2012, 6:40 pm

    Adam,
Nice find on that pic, I think I am playing baby games with the camera.

  • Sir Phobos August 6, 2012, 12:11 am

Here’s what I’m going to do: I’ll make sure Markus reads and answers this one, because I was already picked by another blog to do the same. He gets this one because the other one picked me specifically to continue on the award. However…

I would rather have a tin can and string than an iPhone, and baseball makes me narcoleptic. Just thinking about it now is causing me tspofjo;zizz;vzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • Chip Lary August 6, 2012, 6:36 am

Thanks. I did receive it a little bit ago. You can read my post here, if you like: http://tipsfromchip.blogspot.com/2012/07/i-received-liebster-awardagain.html

I will answer your questions here.

    1. What was the first blog post that you wrote?
It was a “welcome to my blog” post. I’ve seen that excluded on other Liebster award posts, so after that I all at once posted a set of movies that won all five major Oscars, a book review, a hiking review, then asked people to pick my next movie category (which got zero responses after hundreds of views.)

    2. Red Sox or Yankees?

Who are these “Yankees” you speak of?

    3. The toilet paper roll should it roll down from the top or from underneath?
    Top

    4. The last thing I stole was a….
    kiss

    5. What was the worst injury you ever suffered?
When I was 13 the front tire of my bike hit the back tire of a buddy’s bike that I was racing. It was on a downhill and at the time I was going just as fast as I could pedal and just barely keeping up with the chain’s contact. My bike took a hard left turn; I kept going straight. I came down on the road on my elbows, skidded, my chin bounced off the road, I finally stopped skidding, and then the rest of my body finally dropped to the road. No broken bones, but it took all summer for the shredded skin to heal. My mom poured hydrogen peroxide all over my elbows to try to clean the grit out of them and I didn’t even feel a thing when she did it. The next day when she did it again, boy did I feel it then. Many years later you can still see the scars on either side of my elbow points.

    6. If you did not blog about film what would you be blogging about?
I probably wouldn’t be blogging. It was all the people who asked me for movie recommendations that kept telling me I should start a blog, so I finally did. Since I do write about more things than just movies there, it’s possible I might have blogged about one of them.

    7. What kind of car do you drive? ( yes I stole that from Swingers)
    Saturn VUE AWD

    8. Have you ever eaten a pickled egg?
    No

    9. What’s in your pull order? (If you don’t understand this question the answer is nothing)
I think you are referring to comics, so the answer would be nothing now.

    10. Have you ever fired a gun?
    Yes

    11. Do you own an iPhone or two tin cans and a string?
    Neither.

  • MarkusWelby1 August 6, 2012, 11:10 am

hmmmm…..who started giving out these crabs anyways and where can we find them to pummel them?

  • Jen August 7, 2012, 11:45 pm

Thank you so much for the award!!!! I can’t wait to share my answers on my blog, which should be up in a day or two. I’ve been slacking in the writing department.

    Adam:

I wished I was a fly on the wall while you were talking to Jesus. I once experienced my friend having a conversation between a lamp and a wall. Of course, he was high, but I enjoyed their conversation. Elvis…well, you gotta come to Hawai’i. We have a life size bronzed statue of the King and it always have fresh leis on it. Good call on Jar Jar Binks. Dated Scott’s sister and lived to tell about it…amazing.

    Mark:

Yes, another anti-lakers fan! I don’t particular like them either. Spiders…ugh…I hate spiders. Every you ever watched “IT”, I hate that ending where the clown turned out to be a spider. I was more scared of the spider than the clown.

    Scott:

I am fascinated at the fact that you were a professional poker player. I will remember that if you ever challenge me with a game. Congrats on your little on that’s on the way. Another boy? Maybe a beautiful baby girl? How exciting!!! Yum…I love sushi, too. Too bad Mark doesn’t like it at all.

Thanks again for the award. I’m honoured but just keep forgetting to fill it out. I don’t think I can list 11 active blogs to send it to but will see. I’m adding this to my weekend to do list :) Thanks again guys.
