So Johnny and Tim must have got the message after my post yesterday, lamenting the lack of a trailer for the upcoming Dark Shadows film. Nice to see that they are both reading our blog to see when they should release trailers.
In my opinion this looks like some kitschy good fun. Whats your take on the trailer?

Johnny Depp is such an ageless actor, he can play a 30-year-old, no problem! He has good comic timing I think, golden globes 2012, cameo in Life’s too shot, etc, etc. However I’m unsure if Dark Shadows is an all-out comedy, maybe the trailer is telling lies?
Chris, he looks like he is about 20 in some of those shots. Maybe he really has been drinking human blood to stay young. I am thinking this is prob a sort of dark comedy/horror film but who knows. From what I heard the series was a kind of gothic horror soap.
Was not expecting to laugh at this. Kinda tired of seeing Depp in similar characters over and over again. and yet, I still rather enjoyed this trailer. Looking forward to seeing what this film ends up being like!
Yeah in away it certainly seems like very familar territory for Depp. However, the trailer did look good and I anticipate going to see the film.
Love the trailer and how much fun the movie is shaping out to be. Eva Green finally seems to break her streak of bad luck, I hope a lot of directors will notice her finally, she is long overdue for a big career.
